How can we have gotten this PC?

Parents have a habit of diminishing things when it comes to their children. They say that little junior just took a plastic knife from the cafeteria when what actually happened is that little junior took the knife and then began stabbing other kids in the classroom with it.

I'm guessing you didn't read the whole article?

It says why he was suspended the first two times right in there:

Quote:
The first was because he observed a fellow student’s skin is black. The second was because he brought his favorite book to school to impress his teacher — but the Big Book of Knowledge includes a section on pregnancy, including a photo of a pregnant woman.

I think bubba is on to something....

Whose opinion based the commentary of, for example, that the kid "observed" that the kid's skin was black? Where is the actual discussion, name calling,,etc?

If this was written with info from the subject kid's parents, it could be influenced a certain way...

It doesn't matter what "it says in the article". There are two sides of every story and articles can be slanted to gain sympathy for one party over another. What is the schools side of the story? The ex policeman in me likes to question a little further when things don't add up. Good little kids are not suspended three times in 6 months for bringing pregnancy books to school and pointing out that another kid is black and not white (probably used the N word here in name calling).

Lets use some critical thinking skills here folks and not take everything we read at face value.

I'd bet $100 that little Johny here is a future turd in the making and will likely get to know his local police force, and not on good terms.

True, but often the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Based on this incident as well as several other stories I've read, one can only reach the conclusion that the quickest way to advance up the public school food chain is to be totally bereft of even a scintilla of common sense...

Let's see. What if, we don't know otherwise, the Aiden was being an a-hole to the boy already and it ended with the "you'll disappear" event?

The kid is obviously a PITA already.

Context is everything and this post is lacking.

Kinda like the guy in GA who received a ticket for eating a hamburger while driving. The individual was driving erratically because he was trying to eat a burger. The Ticket was over the poor driving (failure to operate a vehicle in.....).
