How bad is a slightly over filled transmission?

I have a 2012 Honda Accord with the V6 engine. I did a couple drain and fills(3.5qts each). I heated it up and checked the ATF and it was a tad low so I added maybe 1/8th to 1/4th of a quart and now it show a little high on the dip stick. It seems to shift great as it always has. Is this little bit going to cause any damage or should I jack the car back up and drain a bit out?
Here is a picture of when the fluid is on the dip stick. I put a line to make it easy to see:

I'm like 99% sure that it's fine.. but we here at BITOG are OCD so.... you'll never sleep well unless you get it perfect.

I had the same concern when I was doing drain and refills on my Corolla.

That is fine on anything with a dipstick. The dipstick is not super precise, and full is a range, not a single point.

If you see a lot of bubbles, I would be concerned, but no bubbles and just slightly over the top of the full mark is fine.

Does it say in BOLD letters on the dipstick... DO NOT OVERFILL?

Don't jack the car up and drain some out, THAT'S THE HARD WAY!! Just get a clear 1/4" tube and slip down dipstick hole and suck it out with your mouth.

That's a tough one.

If this is the temperature after a nice long drive I probably wouldn't worry about it.

Ideally you would suck up the extra fluid with an extractor.

Not a problem. You will see bubbles on the dipstick when there's too much in there.

All Data says on my specific car(2012 V6 Accord) that if the transmission is too full one of the symptoms is the car will want to move forward while in neutral. Mine does not do this. Is this something that all cars will do if their transmissions are over full?
