Whats up guys, I have a 21x,xxx mile jeep. Its an off-road rig, but it does see pavement too. So it will get some drive time to circulate the gas...

Ive tried several bottles of Redline and Regane. I didnt notice much... I also currently run 1oz of TCW3 per 5gal of gas, and that at first I did notice a better start up and smoother idle, I think now Im used to it.

So the question remains, is there anything else that I can run in the jeep to clean it THAT much more/better? Is there anything that is either stronger or am I where the jeep will forever sit. As in, wont get any cleaner? Should I drop the TCW3 and run MMO? I bought a gallon of it, but I can use it no problem. I do have some MMO here too though.

Is there any other fuel cleaner out there that is stronger than Redline or Regane? BG? Chemtool?

Just seems sluggish at times, and I wanted to make sure the system was as clean as I could get it. But then again, there is no way of telling unless I had pictures from before and after, plus data etc etc.

Clean your Throttle body and try spraying a bottle of seafoam through your intake system. I ran a redline si-1 cleaner in my gas tank, cleaned my throttlebody with autozone cleaner and seafoam bombed through my intake seriously gained alot of off the line pep on my car. Results are going to vary per vehicle but for $20 it's worth a go. Higher mileage and older vehicles greater the chance of big gains.

By air intake, as well as the throttle body, I suggest you actually verify the airflow is adequate. Look for leaks and cracks, nests etc from the beginning to the end of the system. I presume the air filter is ok.

I have a Cherokee 4.0L with 300k+ miles. I suspect that the oil rings are caked because it uses about a quart of oil every couple thousand miles, where prior to 250k it didn't use any oil. It is very prone to getting the fuel injectors and the ports that they are in filled with carbon. It spends most of its' time below 2k RPM, so it never really gets the turbulence to clean the carbon out.
You can take it up to about 4k RPM on the highway and you will get a carbon poof every now and then and that definitely helps.
I pulled the fuel injectors out and cleaned them (gloves, Kerosene, careful) as well as blew out the ports and that helped for about 10k miles.
I would also recommend the Seafoam.

My Jeep and buggy (2.5L / 4.0L) sit most of the time and are dedicated trail rigs. I add Stabil and a bottle of B12 Chemtool once in a while when I fill the tank. I've never had any fuel issues or gumming.

In addition to cleaning the throttle body (pull it off to clean) and IAC, I recommend pulling the intake (and subsequently the exhaust as well) manifold off and changing gaskets. Check for cracked vacuum lines too.

As far as fuel cleaners you have used some of the best. What I would consider is giving it a good top end cleaning to remove any carbon build-up. My choice for this is Mopar Combustion Chamber Cleaner , it is a foam that dissolves alot and is much more effective than seafoam, it can be had at the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep Dealership.

I have cleaned the TB, IAC, new tune up kit around 1000 miles ago. and I also plan on upgrading my injectors from a single hole to a 4 hole style injector soon.

I have also ran Amsoil's powerfoam also.

Does it run, does.it have fuel, air, compression, spark, and correct timing. If it does it will most likely run. If it does run, but not right check the timing, or maybe an oil, and a fuel additive to see if it will run right again. If the oil was not changed properly either, then it would be a good thing to change the oil, and put Lucas oil treatment in it, and maybe look inside the engine(you will have to only take a cover or two off) and see how bad the sludge is, if the oil was changed properly, then the engine is most likely in good shape.

You're doing all the right things...are you sticking with top tier fuel? It sometimes can take several hundred miles before these detergents/addys do their trick. (Don't know how long you've been committed to the current regime, just saying).

Also clean your MAF, check your EGR, pcv and fuel filter.

Do you have an OBD2? What do your FT's look like? You may be running either too rich or lean, effecting power output.

Could be you've just lost so much compression that power output ain't never gonna be what it was unless you do a rebuild. (you could try engine Restore or Valvoline Restore)
