Although some colors appear to be use specific they are not, eg many A/C rings are purple. When I buy Viton rings they are offered in any color I want. for high temp and pressure I order in blue just for my own system.
Buy A/C rings from the dealer, some have real oddball sizing and loosing a full charge cost more than using cheap rings is worth.
