Never thought of celebrity (I'm using that term loosely with Bieber of course) endorsements for oil filters. "Tom Cruise Trusts Denso Oil Filters", then cut to him jumping on a couch he's so excited about it.
 
So what have we got so far:

Purolator's media tears

FRAM's low pleat count

FRAM's miscalibrated bypass valves to insure dry starts

FRAM's cardboard end caps

It's almost a FRAM sweep!!!!!!

Where's the data on that one? Bypass valve don't cause dry starts.

Do you know how a filter actually works?

Bypass valves do not cause dry starts, miscalculated or not.

ADBV's not functioning cause dry starts, are they miscalculated?

End caps have the job of holding the filter media in place and sealing the ends. Look how many cartridge filters have NO end caps, just the glue. And Fram uses plenty of glue which is why they always come out still in one piece when used as advertised.

If you don't like Fram then use facts to bash them, not the mis-informed nonsense.
