HDMI output on a PC?

Never had one of those on a PC/notebook, so I wanted to know:

1. Does it output all video (like a typical DVI output) or is it only used to output HD video from a blu-ray drive?

2. Does it output digital audio? Another words, if I connect it with an HDMI cable to a home-theater receiver and play a DivX movie with AC3 (dolby digital) soundtrack, will it send the raw digital audio stream to my receiver and let my receiver do the decoding?

I'm looking at the spec sheet, and yet I'm not 100% clear on what it says...

Yes, it outputs all video and it can output sound too.
