Hey Guys, I just found some Havoline deposit shield, dino(in new black bottles) 10w30 on sale for $1.49 so I got enough for about 3 oil changes. Is this stuff pretty good or what? I've never used havoline before. Any users?

Why the big secret on the purchase-place?

That "stuff" is pretty darn good. Good find!

Hey guys, I got it at a local (non-chain) outlet. "Pop's bargain outlet". In Turlock, Ca. I think they buy stuff from other stores that go out of buisness or something. Maybe some of you live in the area and can check it out. They get oil at random so I usually stop by just to see what they have. Thanks for your comments, now I'll use it with confidence.

The old version was one of the best dinos. The 'dummied down' new version isn't proven fully, as the add packs are weaker.
I quit using it because of this and use Motorcraft.

This goes for most all new oils [SM].

I'm running it right now and I don't really notice any difference between this and Valvoline (what I ran in the previous 2 changes) but I plan on getting it analyzed around 4k and only time (and more UOA's) will tell. As far as I know, it's a very good oil. I got it for only $.79 a quart so I can't complain!
