Hey, y'all. I let my neighbor borrow my lift, and now it's in a bit of a situation. His son was on it when it got too far off level, and went into "Down-Only Mode", code 001. It's also displaying "Machine Is Not Level", code 015. In this mode all controls are locked out except for dropping the boom and basket.

The problem is the boom and basket are now below the level for the cradle and 90° off from the frame. The rotate controls seem to be working in theory but not in practice. When I try to rotate the boom I can hear the electric pump or motor kick in, but it doesn't actually rotate.

At this point I would really like to get it back in the stowed position, and get it onto a trailer to get it out of his yard. I'm going to pay someone to bring it to a place that services these things and see if it's worth spending money on to fix or just scrap or sell as non-functional. This thing has given me nothing but problems. I shouldn't have bought a machine that was this thoroughly used. It's a 2012.

Any ideas for bypassing the safety locks so I can try to raise the boom, spin it, and drop it back down into it's cradle? I think part of the problem with the rotate controls not rotating is it's in "Limp Mode" and it's old.

We both have mid-size tractors with loader, forks, and bucket. Do we start pulling hoses on the boom so it goes limp and then carefully use the tractors to raise and spin it?

Is there some diagnostic service device I could plug in that will let me bypass safety features long enough to stow it?

I would appreciate any advice if any of you know anything about these lifts. Thanks, guys.

I got it figured out with my neighbor. We found both pressure sensors on the cradle and manually depressed them. That tricked the machine into thinking it was stowed, so we could lower the outriggers and level it out. Once leveled, we could move the boom.

I've had too many problems with this thing. I'm going to find a shop that will work on it and have them go over it thoroughly. Safety is a big concern with a piece of equipment like this, and I'm not really comfortable getting on it until a professional says it's safe.

I appreciate anyone reading over this looking to help. I hope I didn't waste anyone's time.
