You also see excited shoppers filling the aisles and having stuff in their carts. You don't see that at Sears.

That is because they have offshore built tools near US quality prices.

I like HFT but remember that specialized HFT tools should be compared to no special tools used, NOT compared to using Snap On. If you can't afford a special use Snap On / Matco, etc. tool you use an improvised, inadequate tool, unless HFT make an intermediate quality tool. Viewed that way most of their products are great. I do prefer Japan / Taiwan / more expensive Chinese and NOT India or lowest price Chinese.

Well that goes without sayin'. The nice thing to me about HF tools is I can I can get a metric socket set, combo wrench set, screwdriver set, and pliers for under $60, throw them in a bag in the trunk of my vehicles(s), and not worry too much if they disappear.

My Snap-on stuff, that I have likely developed an unhealthy attachment to after 30 years, will stay warm and comfy in the big box until really needed.

You cannot go wrong and you can save at least 20% on every purchase.

do a google search for slick deals harbor freight

Good one!

But in my state it is welcome to 1995.

I've been shopping there more since Craftsman has moved production off shore. I had a 90 die grinder that lasted 5 years. Used every in a shipyard
