The best filters are a high quality paper type filters. Look into the filters and oils used in big trucks and equipment where long life is a selling point and think about what they use.

i think those guys are fake...i emailed them and it returned me with an unknown address. i would look for another company...some that was just mentioned latley in this forum

I know a guy on the east coast that swears by Green filters. He says his Cobra kit car gained lots of power.

At the same time, the Green filter for the Miata has been out of stock for 6 months now and I wanted to test one. I still haven't heard back from them.

It is a cotton gauze filter very much like K&N from all I gather though.

I can't explain the lack reply or bad address, but Green Filter is not fake. They happen to be the filter supplier to the Peugeot factory, World Rally Championship, team. Peugeot, I might add, are the 2002 World Rally Champions and are currently leading the 2003 championship.

maybe it was just that site....iono i got my baldwin here...dont really want to cotton gauze ne time soon.

green is good from what i here from those across the pond, but id go with a BMC filter. theyre used by Scuderia Ferrari F1 in their 3 litre V-10 and some other F1 teams also use BMC. Toyota and McLaren-i think for sure about the former not so sure about the latter.

HOLY CRÊPE! The green panel filter for my Z28 is $80.50

well, if Peugeot thinks they're good, then umm...wait, we better find out if the Renault or Citroën teams are using them. If two out of three French guys like them, then maybe the rest of the world just hasn't caught on yet.

In my limited experience trying to purchase a green filter, I found the actual street price was way, way less than the list price on Green's site. That said, I still wasn't actually able to obtain the filter I needed because it was on backorder. I would've like to test it, but that won't be possible soon, because the air intake tract on my test car is going to change drastically.
