Does AutoZone really have a carbon pile load battery tester? I think just a Midtronics conductive battery tester.

Turning headlights on for a little bit will get rid of a surface charge.

Whatever gadget they use to punch in the CCA of the battery & see what it load tests. I just have a multi-meter.

That's probably a conductive battery tester. A carbon pile battery tester needs to have very thick cables as they need to handle 400 to maybe 500 amps.

Wow, that's a lot of load but it makes sense. You want a high enough load to replicated cold cranking.
