GM 1.5L missing some parts and still running

I've seen videos where engines were drained of oil and they ran for like 20+ minutes before dying so it's possible but it's damaged anyway. Rings, cams lobes, turbo cam and crank bearings had no oil for too long.

Owned an 84' Buick Century with the 3.0 V-6 back in the day. It thru a rod and it punched a hole through the bottom of the block. Drove it about 25 minutes to get home, with the oil light on. Parked it, and that was it. Never cranked over again. Seized up. Damage was done.

My wife's first car was a 1980 Buick Skylark with the 2.5L. She went to cold start it one very cold winter morning and the throttle stuck wide open given it was carbureted and needed to be pumped a few times. It threw a rod up onto the front porch. It was a rusty mess anyway. My FIL had put homemade floors in it not long before it met it's demise.
