Looks like I forgot to post this UOA. Not much run time since installing this generator. Annual service with 15hrs on machine, 14hrs on oil. Oil changed at annual service for warranty purposes.

Try Kohler 10-30 oil next time. Good stuff, there are some UOA of it on here.
Thanks for the suggestion. I have several gallons of this HPL oil as I run it in several different pieces of equipment to make everything easy. It's just a shame to dump it after so few hours. Might just change the filter next year & leave the oil in if it doesn't accumulate more hours this year. I'm using the UOA's for warranty since I refuse to pay what Generac wants for the annual service fee.

Looks like this is the way to go. Barely touched that oil! Thanks for posting!

Yeah, I ended up buying a Kohler 14Kw, haven't installed it yet but I have no intention of changing the oil yearly if it only has the monthly 15 minute auto-run time on it.

Send it to me! I’ll run it through a 0.5 micron filter and use it for another 50 hours in my little 4kW Ryobi inverter generator! 🤣
It's long been dropped off at the recycling center. Was mixed with my new mowers factory Honda fill as well as some Motorcraft LV from a power steering reservoir exchange in my F150 in the waste tub.

Unless I get another extended outage (like the couple 4-7 day ones that caused the purchase) to run up the hours on this fill, I'm just going to swap the filter & top off.
