Why is it so difficult to just sing the National Anthem the way it is intended!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He did fine. He performed it a bit differently but hit the notes and paid the song's meaning respect.
Not a very good choice in my opinion. Those high notes sounded more like scratchy screaming than singing. And to be honest, I got the impression his rendition was more of a performance and not out of respect. But the that's how many of us are today isn't it.

Our national Anthem has been sung wrong for so long at events , than many expect wrong versions.
They consider it OK and normal to glorify your personal self.
The singers should have a bag on their head in a closed room with a microphone - out of the limelight.
And sing it straight.

Good point man. It's NOT about them. The National Anthem should truly be sung in a respectful fashion and without trying to gain attention or change the notes for ones own inabilities. And that goes for everyone, no matter what ethnicity or musical background you have.
