Just got my new issue of Car & Driver in the mail today. While thumbing through it, there's an ad for this new(to me?) G Oil.

Supposedly it's full syn, "green", and made in the USA. In the lower corner it says now on sale at Wal-Mart, although I didn't see it when I was there earlier in the week.

Check it out on page 38 of the April issue of C&D. And it lists the website as: www.getg.com

Anyone know anything about this oil?

I read the posts. The general gist of the posts is that people are not prepared to trust this stuff until it is proven in the marketplace and by the consumer. To date, that seems not to have come to pass.

They're suppose to start selling the small engine brands and 2 cycle oil at walmart in the outdoor department. I think homedepot or lowes sells the small engine products too.

I've bought both the Regular and the G1 Racing oil i'm going to run both in my G35 and get a uoa of it. If it's anything like biodiesel it should provide good lubricity better than most garden variety oil.

G-Oil company is really big on marketing nano technology any one know how big most moly additives are? Im assuming they're in the 1-5 micron size range?

Coupled that with it not being imported and processed from the middle east uses meat product waste and doesnt affect the food supply it's really a great product if not from a performance stand point a eco standpoint

I was wondering about this oil as well....but I haven't really figured out how to use the search function too well on G oil.....it doesnt come back with results.
