Bringing a new meaning to cheapness.
I have my air purifier set up in my TV room only on medium speed.

I have a ceiling fan that's on a 14 foot ceiling so I guess it's 12 feet off the floor.

I took notice that where I set the purifier it now spins the ceiling fan.

No need to turn it on.
I guess I was really late to the cheapskate party...

It really isn't free, given that you are utilizing electricity that you are more than likely paying for.
The "Cyclonic action" is provided at no additional cost.

I have well over a dozen and most are worthless.
This one is like yours great. An old Mitsubishi with a remote. Plasma too
Full disclosure
I just seen 13 ordered from Amazon alone.
Most are crap...

Sort of, ultimately the fan is damping the "cyclonic action" you'd otherwise get from the air movement.

The real free action is if you can make it spin through human flatulence.

I almost had a cyclonic melt down. The Thermostat for the hybrid heating system is to the side of the fan.
And the fan built up enough speed to take the room temp down from 71F to 68F nearly setting off the auxiliary heat.
This could have been disastrous but I caught in time. 😁

Next below the fan is a desktop computer so I daisy chained a 3.5 w passive
UV-C bulb to clean the air further causing a cyclonic domino effect.

Stay tuned for more updates 😉
