Yes this filter looks horrible, run longer than designed.
Way to many Purolators that have failed within their designed time frame.

Yep - just playing around - Wix XP (sale item) - change 4L60e pan volume & remote yearly. Wish I understood the efficiency issues on the XP - liked the build quality - valves included ...

Hey, no problem.

I will say I was a bit ticked off and disappointment on the sub 5k mile, 6month OCI Fram TG that I cut open that was on our van. I try to take really good care of it and when I find the oil filter likely bypassed a bit I get grumpy... The oil filter cutter I got was a good investment. But then again, ignorance is bliss.

At this point on my parents caravan its all a big experiment in my eyes. That thing has been neglected.
