At least a couple of years back, a BITOG member posted a sale of Fram HM filters at Summit Racing under clearance pricing. I maintain at least ten family and elderly neighbor friends vehicles and use BITOGs forums to purchase products to reduce the costs what I do for free. Believe the purchase was about a $1.25 per filter and the shipping was free.
The post was to highlight the additive device to this type of filter. Used for 6500 miles on a 2007 Honda CR-V. Plenty of "additive" remained and all other materials were fine.No tears in filtration. For the price, no complaints. Have used the same type filter(HM3387a)on 2002 Buick LaSabre. No issues.
