Was at the store the other day. Saw Frams are now selling their own forever flow filter. Cleaning and oil kit. They are cheaper then the K&N for those interested.

I've seen the air hog. They have a 250,000 mile warranty vs. K&N's 1,000,000. They apear to be of higher quality, edging material doesn't overflow into the filter. They don't seem to make a cone either.

Yes. I tok a look at one the other day, and the construction is shady if you ask me. You can still see holes through the element like a K&N; you can't see any holes with an s&B air filter. I'll stick with paper and not risk

I saw these at the Saratoga (Wilton) Wal*Mart about 10 days ago. Looked to me like an orange K&N ... for about the same price.

Yes, I think the name was "Air Hog."

Right now, Advance Autoparts is offering a rebate on Purolator air filters. Bought one for my '03 SpecV 2.5L for $8 and the rebate is $3.
