You are right, it is excellent for that. And right at 7cSt you are correct it won't make a difference (short term).

I have a UOA on here of Formula Shell on a 7.1K run on a late model not fully broken in FX4 5.4 3V on less than ideal conditions and it held up very well and had some life left.

Use it with confidence. I doubt you will be driving under circumstances with 15-20 short trips under 7 a week miles and 10 dust storms during your OCI.
