2004 F-150 Lariat (new body style) 5.4 3 Valve, 68K Miles
This is my sons truck. He bought the truck with 48K miles. It now has 68K miles. This was it's 1st ever flush/fill. We used Prestone Flush & Cleaner, 10 gallons of WM distilled water, and 3 gallons (Specs 2.7 gallons) of Ford Gold (G-05) coolant. It registered 60/40 when complete.
Below is only a partial amount of trash that was drained from the radiator when we initially started the process.

Don't forget to look into the Reservoir (also change that fluid) for dirt that may have settled there.

Are you going to leave it at 60/40 (60% coolant) ?
I was always paranoid about aiming for 50/50 (even with cold Winters)

Yes to the 60/40. 60=Coolant 40=Water.
Some even go as high as 70/30.
