fluid for.... vette ZF6 manual tranny?

What shall I use? Everyone on corvette forums says use the factory stuff, or castrol 10w60 TWS bmw oil from the dealer....

anyone have experience? Whats the fact. stuff?

5w30 GM motor oil or 10w60 BMW motor oil. Thats a pretty big spread.

the ZF doc says redline MTL works very well in these transmissions, Since I have 2 quarts laying around, I will use!

If your 'Vette calls for an ATF, I'd go with Specialty Formulations MTF Glide:

Had Redline MTL in mine.Just installed Pennzoil Synchromesh-much smoother!!
