Well my Cummins dealer here that controls the fleetguard filter market for 500 miles in any direction here has lately been really shatty about ordering filters they don't normally stock.

Anyone know any other place to get fleetgard lube and fuel filters without having to deal with Cummins west. Even with my account they still F around with me.

try here or if you have any CASE tractor
or international tractor dealers by you..

I run NAPA Gold oil filters and Purolator fuel filters in my Cummins with very good results, if you must have Fleetguard, HERE is where I used to get mine from.

the problem is my welders run the best with the stratapore fuel filters, my local Cummins dealer says I need to buy a case a 12. I don't think I will use 12 in the next 15 years. apparently the fuel filter I want is a very common application for European engines.

I don't want wix or baldwin either im a huge fan of the stratapore medium especially for fuel filters. I have seen to many post filter screens plugged up by cellulose media that has migrated off of cheaper fuel filters. never seen one strand of media from a stratapore filter.

I don't mind buying 12 oil filters for my powerstoke or 12 oil filters for the duetz welders but when I usually run fuel filters 1,000 hours its hard to justify buying 12 fuel filters for 2 welders.

I even tried to see about getting some CAT fuel filters to fit but no luck.

Tell them you will contact Cumminsfiltration and complain about their shoddy service...I'm sure an email fired off or a phone call would work well...

I'm surprised you're not interested in Baldwin fuel filters...I don't know about your specific equipment, but they make the best stock drop in for Dodge Cummins...FWIW. Stratapore's would be my second.

I own a couple of Cummins but no dodges. I use the Baldwin 1 piece fuel filters BF1222-SP on my IDI fords. Also Baldwin oil and hydraulic filters on my Perkins powered welders.

And Half of the [censored] problem is Fleetguards own stupid ordering practices, unless the dealers feeding me a load of shat, the reason they will make me order 12 is because Cummins filtration AKA fleetguard will only sell them in cases of 12. I can see their point about being stuck with 6 filters they have never ever needed to sell once before.

I will say im not looking for another brand of filter AT ALL. Just looking for another source on FLEETGUARD filters. Cummins west can kiss my well you know...

And to top it off I did over $1,200 in parts with them last year. I know that's penny's in the can to them but that's a substantial investment for a company of my size to get and use the best to get the MAX out of their investments.

That would be equivalent to a Donaldson P550498. There are over 1200 pieces of equipment out there that use that fuel filter (water separator).

Bryan - Is there a way to calculate shipping charges at your site without going the whole way through the ordering process?

Thanks,

If you fill out the first screen that has the addresses on it, the next screen will give you the shipping charges. From there you can continue with the order, or just back out of that screen. You will not complete the order till after you put in your credit card number.
