Oh yeah, it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

Remember that story about the kids who drove a BMW M5 down a runway until they crashed at the end? Now you know what its like when you replace them with Arabs and a new Airbus airliner. Same thing.

That'll buff right out

I liked the part with the warning sounds and the pilot turned them off. those pilots will be flying again for sure.

Why did I say that last night? I jinxed United by using their slogan. Now their stock is in crisis mode. (UAUA) with rumors of bankruptcy being spread by the media.

Wonder if the pilots will ever fly another airplane again. If they do, they better not be piloting anything that me or anyone I know would fly on.

I suppose a training flight will ever so often turn into a training crash.

I mistrust all aircraft, but escpecially those that have no manual flight control override.

that A340-600 story is a bit embellished on that link, Shannow.

I think the real story is they were doing engine run-up testing and the beast broke loose.
and that ramp was made specificlly for the small chance of that happening.

If I were them I'd just design the Anchors better?

Usually there are 3 crashes . Planes seem to crash in groups of 3 then no crashes the 3 crashes then no crashes then 3 crashes on an on. This is two lets see what if there will be a #3
