Right, but what probably turned the tables was the fact that there are just too many vehicles in the US that have run some form of a 20 weight for +300,000 miles, more than double the average of Europe and Australia.

Please note that I'm not suggesting that the average US vehicle runs twice as long as its European or Australian counterpart. However, it is a fact that in the US our vehicles do last the longest, for multiple reasons. What I was implying is that there are many Fords that have run some varint of 5W-20 and have +300,000 miles, which is more than double the average of Europeand Australia.

I run my 2008 Accent on 0w20 and 7500 mile OCI with the OEM filter. I'd go 10k but it's under warranty.
