In its nearly 34 years and 606K miles, my Mazda had, in order, the OE Panasonic, one Delco (GM, labelled K-Mart), three JCIs (Wal-Mart and Advance), and one Exide (Rural King). All the JCIs covered themselves in nasty acidic gunk (and incidentally were relatively short-lived). None of the others did that at all, although the Exide was in use for only 10 months before I retired the car.
