That's all that's happened here. Instead of local, provincial, or national scam or spam calls, they just all come from overseas. Anywhere near an election time is different, of course, since they need to make 18 calls a day requesting who you're voting for.
 
If I get a robo/spam call, the number just goes onto my blocked caller list (excluding spoofed personal numbers)
 
My cell number begins with 214-288 and I've lost count of how many calls I've gotten from 214-288-XXXX. I guess some people must fall for it, or they wouldn't do it. What [censored] me off is that the providers are allowing these calls to come through with bogus numbers, but they can't be called back.

They are getting added, one by one, to my block list.
