Wasted Years - Iron Maiden
Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner - Iron Maiden
Running up that Hill - Kate Bush
Great Southern Land - Iva Davis/Icehouse

That last one played lots driving home from my Grand, other's funeral. Surreal listening to that while driving through 50km of burning paddocks out the baxk of Wagga Wagga

Free Bird was fittingly used at the end of Devil's Rejects (Rob Zombie's movie).

Evokes different sort of driving imagery for me these days

I Wanna Rock - Twisted Sister
Bang Your Head - Quiet Riot
The Beautiful People - Marilyn Manson
Wait & Bleed - Slipknot
Fozzy - Over The Mountain (Cover)
Cherry Pie - Warrant
Jane Says - Jane's Addiction

Another vote for Radar Love
Roadhouse blues- Doors
China Girl and Modern Love- David Bowie
Let it Roll on Down the Highway- Bachman Turner Overdrive
Fred Bear - Ted Nugent(Love it on the Way to Deer Hunt)
Save a Prayer and Union Of the Snake- Duran Duran

My road trips usually start with listening to the Bob and Tom Show, then I pop in a ZZ Top album. After that it's usually a country music or a Christian station in the rural areas or NPR in the urban areas.

Rockin' down the highway, Doobie Bros
Ventura Highway, America

A few others that I don't listen to but would fit well:

Motorbreath, Metallica - if late for work

Unforgetteable, Nat king cole - after you rear end someone.

Runaway - Del Shannon

Walkin' to New Orleans - Fats Domino

Crossroads - Robert Johnson (don't even THINK of substituting the Cream version; keep that weak s--- out of here)

LA Woman - The Doors

Emigrant Song - Led Zeppelin

Hoochie Coochie Man - Muddy Waters
