What is your favorite car movie? This weekend while I was up at about midnight on Saturday, I watched the movie No Man's Land which is one of my favorite car movies. For starters, it has Charlie Sheen. It's about an undercover cop who infiltrates a chop shop ring that only steals Porsches. It's way old (mid 80s), but it's a cool movie with typical 80s car chases, explosions, wrecks etc!

I remember "No Man's Land." I loved that movie.

Also liked "Ronin", for the Audi fans out there.

Bullitt is the knee-jerk reaction, but really the chase is only a tiny part of the whole movie. There is also a rather hair-raising chase in French Connection if you remember that one. But I have to put in a plug for the Blues Brothers movie. Does it still hold the record for number of police cars destroyed?

Ronin - Not only one of my favorite car movies, but one of my favorites outright. John Frankenheimer knows how to film a car chase!

The Hollywood Knights - Porky's meets American Graffiti.

World's Fastest Indian - Not a car movie per se, but I'm gonna count it.

Two Lane Blacktop - I own a VHS copy of this. It is the only reason I keep a VCR stored in the basement.
