I have a crack in the headpipe of my truck that goes into the manifolds. The leak is vey small so I was hoping to just patch the crack and keep going. Do you guys reccomend any reapir stuff that works really well to fix this crack. I saw some patch kits but there are alot of choices and usually some work better than others.

If it's a small crack just stop by an exhaust shop and have 'em hit it with the welder real quick. No chain stores though they'll gouge you for it.

permatex makes a hi temp metal repair compound for this , the product number is 26346 , I think a junk yard replacement is your best bet though.

^^^^^^^^THIS^^^^^^^

Where is the crack? The pipe coming off/out of the manifold?

I can't think of an exhaust where a pipe goes into exhaust manifold, as they bolt directly to the head.
