Escaped tiger kills visitor

As tragic as this is, I'm glad we still live in a world where people occasionally get culled out of the herd by a tiger.

I think it will be sad once we've eliminated every possible bad thing that could happen.

Indeed, there is not enough natural selection going on. Too much trash in the gene pool and all that cal...

Push any animal far enough and they will defend themselves. It seems natural. If these young men were innocent, then I think they would have cooperated more with the cops. The tiger paid with it's life for possibly their provocation. I think justice has been paid already. Every person should treat every animal with respect, then they can stop the "When Animals Attack" shows.

Every circus I went to had the, boldly proclaimed and verbally announced, disclaimer (spoken in a theatrical manner appropriate for the event), "Wild animals are beautiful, wild animals are exotic, but wild animals are NOT friendly"

As our dearly departed Croc Hunter (RIP) stated, "Oyev bin bit, pierced, stung, gouged, poisoned, lanced, ..and ets ol my fault. Whenevah Oyve sade "Oh! Oyve n'er Ceenwon so Oggessif" ..ets beecoz Oyz made them that way".

I've had dogs that were potentially viscous ..but calm (obedient, protective, and loving). I'd tell someone to leave the dog alone; saying that they would be fine if they did so. Invariably someone would NEED to make friends with the animal. I'd tell them again. This is different than allowing someone into the room with a known viscous dog and letting them walk up to it and attempt to pet it. I had one not so close friend insist on repeatedly trying to pet my animal. The dog reacted ..and my pal said "You need to do something about it.". I said, "Yeah, I need to figure out how to get you to listen to my advice about my dog." If it wasn't for how disturbed he got over it, it would have been laughable.

My white shepherd was a magnificent beats, but he was crazy. Hated men. Hated other dogs(except my other two). Loved women.
I always yold guys to stay away from him, and they always insisted on trying to pet him. He never quite got one, but a few he managed to bite pieces of clothing off of.

A man was killed.

He was one of the three.
And if he was teasing the tiger, he got what he needed to get.

That could be an distractational misspelling hazard when posting here

I'd say that viscous dogs get thinner if you run them long enough

Google 'slingshot tiger' and you'll get a lot of news stories.
Apparently, there is some truth to Vodka and slingshots being part of the total mauling picture.

Once again, Al and I are in agreement.

I'd make that a trio.

While not sure I'd agree with the death, it is a simple consequence to an action. Play with a rattlesnake, you are going to get bit. I don't understand our current generations belief that they should be able to do whatever they want without consequences. I hope others learn from this. I know I plan on no longer bringing my sling shot and vodka to the zoo anymore. I will use gin.

They've got a big shot lawyer now, so I doubt we'll know the absolute truth... well.... ever.

Vodka and slingshots don't help the case that they were helpless victims of a random attack.

So they have this actual evidence? (I gave up on following this in the news

Yes. As well as some undisclosed things.

4 feet short...that's a little.

workmate lives a very close distance to the fireworks factory that went up the other month...damage to windows, gyprock (drywall), antique timepieces, and shy livestock.

Is claiming through his insurance, expecting his insurer to go after the insurer of the fireworks factory that blew. (i.e.wants his excess/deductible back).

Apparently the factory was built to approved Oz and International standards. Apparently there is no evidence of tampering or foul play. No single person/company was fond to be negligent or caused the incident.

He and his neighbours all pay their excess/deductible, and lose any bonuses that they had for long time no claim.

Simply because the standard said "17 foot walls", and they made them 17' 1".
