Push any animal far enough and they will defend themselves. It seems natural. If these young men were innocent, then I think they would have cooperated more with the cops. The tiger paid with it's life for possibly their provocation. I think justice has been paid already. Every person should treat every animal with respect, then they can stop the "When Animals Attack" shows.

Every circus I went to had the, boldly proclaimed and verbally announced, disclaimer (spoken in a theatrical manner appropriate for the event), "Wild animals are beautiful, wild animals are exotic, but wild animals are NOT friendly"
As our dearly departed Croc Hunter (RIP) stated, "Oyev bin bit, pierced, stung, gouged, poisoned, lanced, ..and ets ol my fault. Whenevah Oyve sade "Oh! Oyve n'er Ceenwon so Oggessif" ..ets beecoz Oyz made them that way".
I've had dogs that were potentially viscous ..but calm (obedient, protective, and loving). I'd tell someone to leave the dog alone; saying that they would be fine if they did so. Invariably someone would NEED to make friends with the animal. I'd tell them again. This is different than allowing someone into the room with a known viscous dog and letting them walk up to it and attempt to pet it. I had one not so close friend insist on repeatedly trying to pet my animal. The dog reacted ..and my pal said "You need to do something about it.". I said, "Yeah, I need to figure out how to get you to listen to my advice about my dog." If it wasn't for how disturbed he got over it, it would have been laughable.
