They recently reformulated the 5w30. I'm not sure if it was for quality issues, or maybe something else. The 5w30 was the only SynBlend in their product line. It's now been converted to 100% synthetic


Probably to meet SN/GF5.

Just saw this storybord showing piston cleanliness - I have to study GTLe tech - sounds like another fake synthetic when I see the equivalvent term. Not that primary PAO base doesnt have some issues (which amsoil has seemingly overcome) ...
