Good day folks. Trying to remove top of my MightyVac fluid extractor. I see they use Phillips head screws but screws won’t loosen. Am I missing something? Thank You for all help and advice.
Just looked at mine. If it's the same model, I have nuts on the bottom off the Phillips head screws. Try getting a socket on them to help get them off. Might be a nylon insert nut, or Loctite. Should come off.

You may need to use needle-nose pliers as shown in the video below around the 1 minute mark.Just looked at mine. It’s a MV 7201 and whatever they are they are right up against body of the reservoir.

Well the Mighty Vac I could only remove 3 if the screws. They butted up other three right against rib on cylinder. Gave it to friend. Probably grab this one tomorrow looks better made.

Headed to Harbor Freight in bit. We have one at work; I’ve never used it but co workers say it works amazing.My friend just bought the HF one and likes it.
