They are lucky nobody was standing in front of the car. It could have become a tragic accident.
I assume he didn't at all know how to drive a manual.
to make it worse, it sounded like that idiot camera guy was making fun of the "real" Mustang ...the whole family must be rich [censored].
Sounded to me like he started the thing in gear, clutch engaged.
Since this car has a clutch/starter interlock, is it somehow possible that this video is a work?
OTOH, maybe he declutched, started and simply dropped the clutch right away.
I love all cars and this is just sad. Thank God no one was hurt.

That's my guess...his foot had to be on the clutch to start the car, so he probably just let out of it once it was started, not realizing that it was in gear and would go.
We can tell where the kid got his stupidity from though...dad should have never let him hold the keys if he didn't know what he was doing.

Crawler 1st gear? Most cars if you dump the clutch in idle it would die out.

if it was a 5 speed it had 3.55 gears stock.
