Not sure where to post this, so I thought I would start here. I'm going to do a friend a favor and do some small time work on his wife's car, which has been neglected. I would like to kind of dress up the old hoses. any kind of spray, rub on,whatever that I could use? I of course do not want to dry out the hoses, just try to make them look a little newer.

Thanks in advance...

RV and Boat dealerships seem to charge the most for the stuff.

Ace Hardware stores in our area stick the 32 ounce spray bottle at a competitive price.

A little cheaper at some on-line outlets though the shipping removes some of the cost savings.

The one-gallon refill jug is the best value.... Amazon.com has a pretty good price.

The bestest value of all was the on-line place up yonder in Minnesota that has the 55 gallon drum. That might be a wee bit much for the average home owner unless you have 30 or 40 vehicles.

There is a spa accessory store (I think) on-line that is in Olympia, WA where I purchased my gallon of 303 for about 50 dollars. Not too bad.

It pays to search on-line.

Looks as if the spade depot place has a very competitive price and their shipping is definitely less than typical. I didn't record all the shipping prices since, over time, it seems to me that shipping charges change faster than many product prices.

I'll try to find that 55-gallon drum deal I saw a year or so ago. Maybe I could buy one then charge y'all to come by and fill up yer' empty moonshine bottles.

303 Aerospace is the best, but Pledge furniture polish in an aerosol can also makes an engine compartment look good. It does have silicone in it, but I don't think that's problem on anything under the hood unless you plan to apint it in the near future.

It's cheap, you probably already have some and it has some cleaning action when you wipe it off.
