Does anyone use SPECTRUM OIL from Sears/Kmart???

All three trucks developed excessive cam wear after 60,000+ miles. I used it in my 1974 Monty Carlo as well and it had excessive cam wear. Well, that is almost 30 years ago and even many of so called "name brands" were putting out sub-par oil.
 
I don't think I've ever seen a bottle of Sears Spectrum oil up here. Years ago, Sears Canada sold all it's automotice centers to another company (Active Green & Ross) to run.

I'm sure in the 1960's to 1990's, lots of people up here used Spectrum oil from Sears Centers, but that name is long gone around here....

Me Three! I have 5 quarts of SEARS Spectrum 5w30 in the SC400 as we speak (so to speak), just running it to a point where I can begin a longer OCI using all the synthetic 5w30 oils I've picked up on sale + rebates...

SynPower, Pennzoil UM, NAPA, etc.

With 6K OCI's I'm probably good for the next decade, and NO, I'm not afraid to use oil that is 2 years old in a car that's soon going to be old enough to vote, either.

For gas motors, SM is SM, BTW.
