Not stock ? What else could they have possibly done to it ?

Smaller blower pulley is the first thing that comes to mind.

Yup, and the accompanying reduction in the numbers to reflect that

The Hellcat is a huge waste of money. You'd have to be have a pituitary gland problem to see the value of such a waste of $$, and a bane of one's retirement fund. People need to grow up.

How do you even get car insurance for a Hellcat? Is it a million a year? I'd think the insurance companies would rightly assume at some point you'll kill a minivan full of 5-year-olds zooming up the on-ramp into traffic.

That is exactly the kind of post I would expect from a Prius driver.

Probably fairly low considering the average age of the people who buy them.

This highest rates are for cars that are stolen/crashed a lot by kids, the Civic comes to mind here.

Depends entirely on your, age, driving record, credit history and other factors. I have owned several high performance cars recently including a Shelby GT500 and now a 2015 Stingray. I pay no more for them than I do for any of my other vehicles. If you have a very poor driving record even insurance on a slug like a Prius will cost you a fortune.

I would love to have a Hellcat challenger but the price of admission is a little steep for me as well as most dealers have an ADM sticker on these cars for $10,000 or more over MSRP.

How could you be so irresponsible with your money to buy a new Prius? Why not buy a 10 year old econobox?

When you drive do you judge drivers as much as your post shows?

I feel sorry for you.

Yes, and I for one think that the Sloyotas are a "huge waste of money".

I would rather put that coin into a great, high tech, road racing bicycle, and ride everywhere, instead of owning one of those abominations.
Once back in shape, I would probably beat the TOY away from stoplights as well, on said bike, while getting UNLIMITED MPG, that their owners are so smug to brag about. LOL

lovcom is back with his semi annual drive by automotive advice.

He used to just berate people who didn't drive Yari - his last penalty box of choice.

Predictable, and always good for a laugh.

I feel like I just fed the troll.

One of the finalists in my latest car search is a 2015 R/T Scat Pack- with "only" 485 hp; Insurance is $97/yr more than a base R/T and the same as a Camaro SS 1Le.

Ahem, Challenger or Charger? The Charger is a more practical platform and actually a better handling car at the limit on the track. But the Challenger has the cool factor and is one comfortable car to spend time in.

Don't test drive it unless you want to buy it...

Challenger- mainly because I want a stick.

Make sure you drive the stick extensively and check it out on the Challenger Forums before you buy. The Tremec TR-6060 is a "notchy" shifting transmission and many of them will give you a major grind in a WOT 1-2 shift. This was the major reason I sold my Shelby GT 500 (which also has the Tremec TR-6060).

My local dodge store just got one in, Torred, 6 spd. They fired it up for me and opened the hood. Note it is already sold, very nice sound!
