Do you run cheap, mid grade or premium filters?

I guess it depends upon how you define "premium filter."
I'm mostly using Ultras and M1s at the moment, but these were bought at deal prices with MIR so were around five bucks or less.
No way on this earth I'd pay more than a sawbuck the pair for an oil filter for any common application.
For some applications, you'll pay a lot more, of course.
Good quality oil filters for most applications are pretty cheap and even OEM branded ones can be easily found online for five bucks each or less if bought in some reasonable quantity.

I run premium filters. I think an oil filter performs a critical job; more so than what most of you guys think. If I couldn't get Fram Ultras, I'd be getting Royal Purples.

I bought 6ea Parts Master jobber filters at less than $2 ea (rock auto) for all of my vehicles and change every 5k miles . Don’t know who makes them but they all say made in Poland

I use Baldwin Filters and I do 5,000 mile oil change intervals for all three of my vehicles.

I use Wix/Napa Gold/Motorcraft filters.
