Any intrepid BITOGers have a DIY solution to catch mail from a sectional garage door mail slot?
Presently, it just falls into a bin on the floor, which is only slightly better than simply being scattered on the floor.
This thing actually seems like one of the more clever and well-conceived solutions, but as a product class, perhaps not the best value for what are essentially bags and brackets.
The ready-made wire basket solution that turns up in searches is no longer made, and the positioning of the slot relative to the section, and worse, a handle, make a rigid catcher more problematic.
Seems like an issue that would support a more robust market for solutions, but I guess maybe not, so trying to put everything on the table.
