Does anyone on this thread know if there is anything special about the “Ford WSS-M2C925-A” standard? The only oil that currently meets this standard is the Castrol Professional OE, which - of course - is only available at the dealership. I’m not worried about the warranty because I’m out of coverage. I just don’t want to do any harm to my engine by using an oil that meets the ILSAC-G5 or Ford WSS-M2C945-A standards instead of this hard to find, obsolete standard of 925-A. Any information or advice is appreciated.
