Did you try a new oil and or filter this yr ?

I tried valvoline, both the conv and the synthetic. I only used the synthetic for 1,500 miles or so before draining and replacing with Mobil 1 0w-30.
I left the valvoline in for the entire 3k. I liked them, but only did the synthetic because I couldn't find any mobil 1 on sale that time around, hence the drain a mere 1,500 miles later.
Overall, I liked them both. I can't really compare anything since I didn't do any UOA, but I didn't suffer any major burn off or oil loss in either car so I was happy.
This is also my first round with 0w30 AFE and I'm liking it. in the prius, the first 5 minutes which usually suck FE wise, are averaging well over 25mpg. Prior I would see mid to upper teens during that warm up time.

I tried pennzoil hm 5 w30 in the saturn, very pleased.
I tried Pennzoil Platinum and Wix filters after using Mobil 1 for 15 years. I had been using Pure One for about 10+ years I guess. Have never been more impressed with a motor oil. I still buy Pure Ones when they're on sale, though. It's still a great filter. I'm definitely looking forward to trying Pennzoil Ultra.
I tried Amsoil ASM 0w-20 with an Amsoil EaO filter. I consider it to be the best oil-related decision I've ever made. 7100 miles later it is still smooth as silk with effortless cold starts.
Nope! I'm sticking with the tried and proven Motorcraft oil and filters on my little Henry. If it aint broke, don't fix it.
+1........use the same combo in an 07 Jeep Liberty with excellent results. I run it one year or 15K miles.
This was the first time I have ever used a 5W in any car I've owned here in Mich. And it certainly won't be the last.

I changed from using Castrol Edge 5-30 to Pennzoil Ultra 5-30 and then on to Pennzoil Platinum 5-30. I am extremely happy with the change to the SOPUS products, they make my engine just purr. As far as the filter goes, I am sticking with the genuine Toyota filter.
Yep. I went to Motul 300V. Previous change was Liqui-Moly Synthoil Premium. 2011 will bring German Castrol.

I was using maxlife blend and it was using oil. The pennz hm only uses about a 1/2 quart in 2000 miles!!! I just changed the shifter cables today , that was a bit of a pain but i saved 3-400 bucks labor at the stealership.

I switched from ASM to Edge 0W20, and SSO to Edge 5W30 early this year and I'm very happy with the change.
I had never run any full synthetics before this year.
I tried Castrol Syntec 5w-40 in my my BMW X5. I've always used M1 0w-40 I can't tell the difference.
