Did I screw up with SynLube?

I always used the filters recommended by SynLube. They initially recommended Delco Duro Gold's. But, he said those were stopped being made, so, he switched over to Royal Purple filters. My most recent filter change was less than 2k miles ago. Previous filter changes were done about every 10k miles or so.

FYI, if of interest, the Speed normally uses some relatively small cartridge filter. But, it can be converted to using a normal spin-on, which I did at the time I started using SynLube. That allowed me to use relatively large filters, so, I'm surprised that I had such a problem.

P.S. I also had a filter-mag, though, I don't know if the offending material was magnetic. I guess not.

This whole web serves no purpose !

Steve Bell is my name if you need to know and live in Burbank CA, I am 61 and retired and worked as mechanical engineer for 35 years with aerospace companies (quite few of them used to be in Burbank, like lockheed) as to the above where is all the "black" graphite embedded in the bearings that would happen if you really used SynLube ?

To me that is a proof of a poor FAKE attempt to first blame SynLube and now a proof that not even a drop of it was used !!!

None of your scam generators can see that, since you ahve never seen a drop of SynLube in your lifetime, so you can not spot this FAKE SCAM attempt - from "Calgary" !!!

As for e-mails or what ever I get junk mail all the time that is addressed to me from my own e-mail, yet I did not send it !

Sometimes e-mails supposedly from my friends and family come to me even from a person that died 9 years ago, wow they even have Internet now on the other side !!! (Cant wait to die myself !!!)

So some of you more hip computer experts can apparently fake anything to prove that someting is so.

Still no one of you told me how to post a picture, though I asked, but all of you are such experts on how to analyze websites.

Put down products and people you have never met, and so on...

Just like in the past you have accused houkster or what ever or johny to be SynLube, fine with me I'd wish to have multi million dollar business like that.

This really is a pointless web, period

How come you do not dig up smut about companies that lie about everything like SHELL and AMSOIL ?

"First in Synthetics"

That alone is fraudulent statement, no one caught that one ?

Not even US Trademark Office - nice world we live in if honesty is put down and fakery reinforced and glorified.

Wow....

I didn't take pictures of things like the pan, where it has a black, almost soot like coating all over.

I hadn't yet contacted Miro, as, I wanted to know for certain what I was dealing with. But, he did see this thread and sent me an e-mail asking if this was me. So, I will respond to him now.

Since it was not a lubrication failure, to some degree I owe an apology. But, in my OP, I noted that I didn't know if it was or wasn't I was just asking what the ramifactions might be if it did turn out to be.

But, "Ankhmaat" I am NOT lying.

It must just be a coincidence that you joined BITOG the same day "Synlube" (Miro) was banned. 27 September 09.

I've been in contact with Miro. So, anybody that wants to verify my story, go ahead, contact him. Be my guest.

JUST DON'T CALL ME A LIAR, okay?

I've learned a lot from these Synlube threads. I hope the majority of members or anyone considering this product learns as much as I did.

If this whole web serves no purpose, why are you using it?

We can get MSDS/PDS for oils by both Shell and Amsoil.

We can compare my preferred oil, M1 0w-40, to products of both.

It isn't possible to do that with Synlube.

Amsoil dealers here don't jump all over anyone who doesn't use it.

You synlubers could learn from that.

XS650, very nice find!! This explains everything.

BITOGERs as individuals may get fooled temporarily, but collectively the BITOG community is amazingly good at rooting out frauds, snake oil salesmen, and scammers!

Kudos to all BITOGers!

There are quite a few good detectives on this board. Nice work!

I just got an email from a buddy. It seems Miro is talking trash on the other site about Helen the Bitog site owner. Seems she banned him. [Way to go Helen], it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Seems a few guys from here have already blasted him.

This is the best entertainment I've had in a long time!

Yes unless you change the filter and buy a $30 quart of my make-up oil. PM me your credit info.
