Dealer wrong?

ASk them to credit your oil change balance toward the price of a new car. See how their greedy eyes will light up as they "build" the price into the new car price.

My wife traded in her 2012 Mazda3 sedan for a new Audi A4 last month. She got $9700 for the Mazda. It had the Skyactiv engine and manual transmission with around 46K miles.

I would never do business with that slimy lizard known as Geico! But back on topic. If your really concerned about the two oil changes-I am sure if you purchased another car from them they would "throw it in" as part of the deal.

Geico valued the car at $13K and some change. After payoff we walked away with a little over $5100. Bought a one owner 2003 Crown Vic with 100K miles for $4K. Saving the $234 a month in payments is nice.
The 4 pay oil change plan was around $200, full synthetic. Not worth traveling that far for a $30 dino oil change for the Jeep. I just thought it was a stupid move on their behalf.
When it comes time for a new car, there are a couple of Mazda dealers just over the state line to the south of me.

So if the terms and conditions were for that car only, how is it stupid on their behalf? Granted, I think the dealership I worked for would gladly let you use it on other cars, we can't blame companies for holding to the terms that we purchased. Sticking with the terms is just. Going above them is simply a bonus. When did we decide companies should always go above the terms we agreed to?
