mobil that came off my moms 1995 civic. she beats the [censored] out of it alot of stop and go driving. car was on for two OCI's (her car has been my experiment aka test car) about little over 4,000 miles each using castrol blend. car has 154,000 miles on it. so far im impressed filter looks untouched possibly could have went for a third OCI. mobil makes pretty good filter definetly for the extended oil change crowd. will try a pure one next and compare.

Thanks for the pictures bro. The Mobil 1 M1-104 is a really great filter for $11.99. Im using one right now in my 2003 Hyundai Elantra GT and they are made very well.

Your welcome.

There's a local farm supply store that regularly puts M1 oil filters on sale from $4.99 each to $6.99 each.

At that price, I always buy a few.... and then put Pennzoil Platinum through them....

Yes! You called? Well those filters are very good. A friend changed his oil at my place not long ago with 15,500 miles on the oil(M1 5-30EP) and used the M1 filter. We cut it open and looked as good as yours. We try to get the AZ or AAP specials when we can.
