I am coming up on roughly 30K miles for my PSD using a Amsoil bypass oil filter. That's 2 oil changes of a synthetic 5W40. Each oil change is 2 clicks of the OLM.

I have a spare filter.

If I understand you correctly, it sounds like a reasonable interval at 15K per oil change, with 2 micron filtration, the oil should be free of wear causing particulates.

I run all my Eap 90's and 100 until they get cold to the touch 3/4 of the way from the bottom. Usually takes around 60,000 miles on the engine and so far I have 60,000 on the trans EAP90 and it's still hot.:)

The other advantage is you get one more QT of dirty oil out of the system. I am not a fan of unscrewing an oil filter, dumping the oil out and filling it with clean oil and then screwing it back it. Always worried the gasket will not seat perfectly the second time.

I run a BMK 23-EA Amsoil dual bypass on my 2011 Expedition. I change the EAO-26 Full Flow Filter @25k miles, and I change the EaBP100 after 75k miles. It's worked well for the last 8+ yrs
