I gave away most of the MAG1 to my brother so this is what i have right now...
Compared to some of the heavyweights around here, this is puny.

2jugs - Pennzoil HM 5w20
3jugs - NAPA Synthetic Blend 5w20 (thanks to a current thread)
3jugs - Mobil Super Synthetic 10w30
1qt - Castrol GTX Magnatec 5w30
1qt - MAG1 5w20

42 quarts, all Amsoil mostly SS 5w30 in gallon jugs, and one gallon jug with 1 qt Schaeffer 9000 and 3 qts Amsoil OE.

No pic as I'm not at home. Maybe if this is still running strong in a week...

62 quarts, primarily 5w30 Shell Rotella Multi-vehicle synthetic 36 qts, 6 quarts 5w20 PUP, and the rest Idemitsu 0w20 synthetic. Looking to get rid of sum of it.

I don't keep a huge inventory like I did in the GC 0w30 days, but I have a moderately sized stash at the moment thanks to a very good 50% off sale on Castrol Edge 5L jugs right now at Canadian Tire.

My current stash is 20L of GC 0w40, 6L of M1 ESP Formula 5w30 and 6L of Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w20.

Who needs to an 'inventory' of anything like motor oil, a commodity product? At least not as an end user consumer. Are you worried there will never be another sale or rebate? This is getting pretty close to "cat lady" territory to me.

Me, you never know when they will change the formula not to your liking.

A case plus Redline 5w20- nick @ gotexhaust saves a couple bucks every item off redline's posted prices shipped free
3 cases plus Redline 5w30
couple gallons redline 5w30
few qrts 10w30 redine
Case PUP 5w30
2- 5 qrt sizes PUP 5w30 just bought amazon 24 bucks shipped free
5 qrt size PYB sale on walmart 13 bucks a while back
Case of m1- cotsco deal still best deal running

Bottom line, I never pay retail, and if you shop on sale and store up you wont be forced to pay shelf price. Gear fluids and transmission fluids as well, have those stored as well, again nick is the reason, he drop ships many boutique oils, you would be surprised at the brands and the cost threw that guy. You have to email him to get the price.

Might want to find a new message board to post on there bud! Maintaining a stash is a BITOG rite of passage.

Cat lady lol, some people on this board get oil for free after rebates. Why wouldn't you stock up?

I've worked down to a small stash, a 4.7-litre jug of Mobil 1 5w30 and a 4.4-litre jug of the same stuff. I was planning on breaking the 4.7 jug's seal in two days, but while shopping for a new battery in Walmart I saw 4.7 jugs of Mobil 1 0W-30 on sale for $29 and change Cdn, so I bought one for this winter's run. Full retail is $52 to $54, not that I've ever paid more than $27 or $29 and change.

After eight years of Mobil 1 5w30 winter and summer, my engine might have a nervous breakdown. But I'll try to break the news gently and promise it I'll go back to the 5w30 in March or April.

I've got 6 5qt jugs of Royal Purple that I'm still burning through. Our local NAPA moved stores and had a deal on QSUD 5w30 single QTs at 2.99 a piece. I picked up what they had which was 12 QTs.

Also some random singles of 0w20 Mobile EP, 5w30 Castol SLX, 2 QTs of Torco 15w40 for the scooter, and 2 QTs of Motorex 10w60 from my old Moto Guzzi.

Currently at about 35 liters, left to right, 5w20 for the Fords this winter, 5w30 for the Chevs, 5w40 for the 3/4 ton tow Burb next summer. I'm looking after four family vehicles. Out of Pennzoil but will stock up if they renew the Canadian rebate in the New Year. Still have room for two jugs of QSUD on rebate prior to year end. Thanks for asking for the stash, it helps me keep organized.

Well cats you have to keep feeding. Oil you can just leave on the shelf. We just stock up when there's a good sale because yes, we're worried that there won't be a sale as good as before. Still got some $2/quart Castrol 0w40. Haven't seen it that low since the Autozone clearance. And of course the free G-oil has been a long while ago. Even almost free Nextgen oil is long gone.

If you know you're going to use a product and it has a long shelf life, why not stock up? For example, I use 0w20 in the CX-5. Advance clearanced Idemitsu at (I believe) 57 cents per quart. Of course I stocked up! Bought 40 quarts, that's 8 oil changes for a little over $20.

It's not about being worried there will never be another sale, it's more about taking advantage of a good price that is unlikely to be beat.

Because I only buy oil at around $1 per quart on clearance. When I stock up on the sale, I have enough for a year or so until another clearance goes on.

All the oil in my cars in my signature below were bought at clearance prices.

Harrumph. My car purrs like a kitten 'til the lake pipes roar — or it would if it had any.
