Crawfish Time

Crawfish season is almost over. We had a boil last night that were spillway crawfish. They seem to be holding out at the same size (BIG) through out the end of the season. We most likely will have 3 more weekend boils before the season is complete.

That isn't a crawdad, that looks like a little lobster!

It's basically an aquatic scorpion without a stinger. Arthropods, you love 'em or you hate 'em. Crawfish are just too much work and have too little meat.

Those are monsters. I get invited to boils down here all the time, never that big.
