Some update on the progress of cleaning up.

Got the house back, opened all the windows to clean everything up, found an electrician that will rewire everything, get permit for everything, and return it back to normal for $1900. Carpet is ruined, and many drywall need to be replaced, but no mold (so far).

Found so much equipment that add to about $22000 of MSRP. The local hydro shop says the retail new is about $11k, so they can sell for $5000 used and offer me $600 to $3k.

I think I either need to buy or rent an ozone generator and run it for a couple weeks from room to room after the electrical is fixed and carpet removed. Any recommendation on ozone generator appreciated.

Trying to sell them everywhere, and already sold $500 worth of high power fan to a glass studio and some individual "medical" users.

THey has an episode on a Grow off like this on Holmes on Homes, was over 150K$ of damage due to mold. They also stole 75K$ of power by bypassing the meter.

From the show, I guess Grow Offs are quite common, of couse all the Stoners who think legalizing pot is the way to go, think this type of stuff is AOK with them.

We have to spend $1500 to get a lawyer to handle the process of getting it back from the government. I can't imagine how much to repair the rest of it.

Right. Pot is bad. But doctors routinely prescribe opiates for pain which end up turning people who don't do "drugs" into addicts.
I don't smoke pot anymore however legalizing it will take truckloads of money out of dealers pockets, and perhaps free up cops to chase actual criminals.
How many violent potheads do you know?

I knew a couple who would DEMOLISH pizzas! Does that count?

My niece is a state trooper in Kansas. She could tell you a bunch of stories about violent potheads, especially since Colorado has now made it legal (more or less), and the surrounding states are getting the fallout. I will not go into details here, but an incident happened just last week that involved a lot of blood, the need for an ambulance and lots of backup. There are plenty of violent potheads, especially the ones trying to make a little money off of the stuff.

The violent potheads are the stone-cold sober dealers/growers. Getting toked while dealing/growing makes one sloppy, and sloppiness is bad for business.

Some interesting update:

I have 2 phone, 1 number rarely used other than for software testing (never got 1 call for months) that I use for these "dangerous situation" when selling off the left over equipments.

I made 3 calls to potential buyers with this phone, 1 call back with a blocked number asking for the former tenant. I didn't remember the name till I hang up, and wasn't for sure until I go home and check the fake ID's copy, and say it is the wrong number.

A sloppy dealer/grower/contractor/etc mixed up my number with his "client". Off to the detective this information go, I do not want them to suspect me nor do I want these guys to get away. I want their money to be confiscated, even if it is just to pay the utility back the $109k of stolen electricity and hopefully my remodeling expense and lost rent.

Then those trying to make money off the stuff need to be put out of business... Then what are we left with? A bunch of people, of their own free will, wishing to smoke pot.

The more things you make crimes of, the more criminals you have. A lot of people's lives have been ruined because Big Brother arbitrarily labelled them as criminals.
