conversion kit - push power

Has anyone seek conversion kits to convert a 2yr old push mower to a self propelled version? In this heat, I think I'm getting a little lazy. Note: Google turns up nothing.

Craftsman - 550 Series Briggs & Stratton, 21" Rear-Discharge.
Model 917.388190.

Unless it has some of the components of a self propelled I think it would be hard to do. Even if you could buy all the parts it would end up costing too much IMO.

Just buy another mower.

That said, I suspect you could check the parts listing for the similar Craftsman model with self propelled feratures and add them. Even then the parts might be expensive.

I'd love to convert my rwd propelled mower to R/C. Sit on the porch, sip the beer, drive the mower....

Do not scoff.

This could happen, now that I think about it.
