HI Guys,

I was just changing lower control arms ...
And I runned in to some difficulties...

One bolt when I was torquing it .. didn't went straight ... I couldn't get her straight so I just torqued it like this ..

Another one went fine .. bot they should be torqued to 100ft -lbs .. but before that .. the heads rounded ...

It seem like its pretty tight ...

Not sure what to do now ?

well the nut is welded to control arm ... I would need to replace control arm again

Contact who you bought the control arm from, and ask them. It seems like a defect in the control arm, not an installation error.

Was the control arm on properly where you didnt have to force the bolt in? You may have crossthreaded it.

JakeR22- Very helpful post. English is obviously not the OP's first language, so you choose to harp on that and poke fun at it instead of even trying to understand the problem. Contributes nothing to the post, but speaks volumes about you.

Ndx- if it is welded to the control arm, then I agree with others who suggest trying to get replacement control arms.
